Project Summary

In Motion Care, LLC is a new startup company in Ames working on a system to track the indoor movement of the CNAs and their equipment working in Green Hills Community Center with a plan to expand the system to other healthcare facilities in the future. The company itself has been around for 2 months and this application of the technology is still fairly new.

Based on which room the CNA is located in, the system will send updated patient care information for individuals in the room. This mitigates the major issue of care providers disseminating information to care workers which traditionally takes a lot of paper and a lot of time. Our client will be delivered a location playback GUI that will help with positioning and installation of the WISER System’s real-time sensors which will further assist in locating personnel, equipment, zone violations and loitering.

We will also determine the optimal placement pattern to gather accurate information of all tracked assets in real-time. The tracking system is designed for open environments such as warehouses which are drastically different from residential living areas and medical facilities this system will be installed in.
